The 36th NSA Convention in Huron, Ohio
attracted many 3-D enthusiasts from around the globe.
Among the many notables were Elena
Vidal and long time NSA member Brian May.
Brian is known to the world as the lead guitarist of the rock
band Queen but to us he is a fellow 3-D collector.
Brian and Elena were on a book tour for their fantastic historical
work
A VILLAGE LOST AND FOUND and agreed to be our banquet guest speakers. Brian
and Elena were
presented with the William C. Darrah Fellow of the NSA award for
distinguished scholarship and outstanding knowledge of Stereoscopy
for their hard work on the book as well as for Stereo World.

Masuji Suto, creator of
StereoPhoto Maker, was also on hand. The NSA presented him with
a much
deserved award for major technical contributions to the 3-D community.
Masuji Suto and David Starkman review some
of the new July updates.
In case you missed this great
event, our committee for Loveland, Colorado
is already hard at work for next years convention. http://stereoworld.org/2011
